Remember the fires that destroyed hectares of forest in South-west of France?
We wanted to make a modest contribution to reforestation. As we know how to produce wine and innovative beverages, but not how to grow trees, we decided to donate 50 cts per bottle sold of our range of IGP Atlantique wines to the YouCare France association. Why them? Because their priority is to protect life. And on the plant side, sensitive to the damage caused by fire, they have set up a charity nursery to nurture the forests of tomorrow.
Nearly 2 years later, Marie-Angèle Bennavail, our CSR / QHSE manager officially gave them with a giant check from Cordier.
Betty Mazet from YouCare France came along with a tree, which will be planted on our Trilles production site.
We promise we’ll soon be showing you our olive tree in the field at Trilles and the hundreds of shoots coming straight from the nursery, which will make the great trees of the future.
