Robert Eden has not become a sailor. But not only does he produce sustainable wines, he also uses an environmentally friendly means of transport to ship them across the Atlantic: the sailboat Grain de Sail. A long journey that started in Saint Malo with a cargo of wines, including the new NAIVE vintage of Château Maris, gold medal winner at the Global Organic and Vegan Wine Masters 2021.
After a 23-day crossing, the ship arrived in New York and after delivering the Maris wine to Benoit Roussillon, the sailors continued their journey with medical equipment for an NGO in the Dominican Republic, and then collected coffee and cocoa in Latin America, which they will bring back to Europe. An ecological, economic and humanitarian round trip that the yacht makes twice a year.
