Rules of the competition

 

“DIGITAL TRACKING GAME on the occasion of the launch of the Cordier.com website”.

From 04 February 2022 to 11 February 2022

(Hereinafter, the “Rules”)

Article 1 – Organiser of the competition “the competition for the launch of the cordier.com website”

The CORDIER Company, a simplified joint stock company with share capital of 37,478,738.00 euros, whose head office is located at 1, rue de la Seiglière in Bordeaux (33800), registered with the Bordeaux Trade and Companies Register under number 803 399 922 (hereinafter, the “Organiser”) is organising a competition entitled “The competition to mark the launch of the Cordier.com website” from 4rd February 2022 to 11th February 2022 (hereinafter, the “Game”).

Article 2 – Participation in the Game

1. Persons eligible to participate in the Game

The Contest is open to all natural persons of legal age residing in metropolitan France.

The following are not eligible to participate in this Contest

– members of the staff of the organisations organising the competition,
– any person who has participated directly or indirectly in its organisation or execution,
– as well as their spouse, direct ascendants and descendants.

The Organiser reserves the right to ask any participant to prove these conditions. Any person who does not meet these conditions or who refuses to provide proof will be excluded from the Contest and, in the event of winning, will not be entitled to the prize.

Participation in the Game implies full acceptance of these Rules.

2. Conditions of participation in the Game

The Organiser offers a treasure hunt with the aim of finding a word. Clues will be present in the daily LinkedIn publications during the competition period and on the Cordier.com website. Participants will be able to make their suggestion in comments on the LinkedIn publications. The winner will be drawn at random on Friday 11 February at 6pm.

To participate in the Game, participants must follow the following steps:

1. See the clues hidden in the daily publications and on the website

2. Make a word suggestion in a comment

It is hereby specified that only one entry per person will be counted. The comments must not in any way harm any person and must not constitute an affront to public decency, incitement to commit a crime or offence, any provocation or discrimination, hate or violence.

Any erroneous proposal will not be counted as correct.

Participation in the Game is strictly personal and nominative. It is strictly forbidden for a participant to participate more than once in the Game.

In the event that a participant has won a prize in contravention of these Rules or by fraudulent means, the prize in question will not be awarded to him/her and will remain the property of the Organiser, without prejudice to any proceedings that may be brought against the participant by the Organiser or by third parties.

Any false declaration, false indication of identity or address will result in the immediate elimination of the participant and, where applicable, the reimbursement of prizes already sent.

It is also expressly provided that the Organiser may, if circumstances so require, suspend or stop the Game at any time.

Article 3 – Designation of prizes

– Ten (2) vouchers (golden tickets) worth €100 valid at La Cave Cordier

Article 4 – Determining the winners of the game

The winners of the Game will be determined according to the following procedures:

1. All comments under the LinkedIn publications during the competition week, including the correct answer, will be counted

2. A draw will be held at the end of the week to award the 2 vouchers to 2 different people

3. We will contact them by private message on LinkedIn to obtain their email address in order to send the voucher

Article 5 – Awarding of prizes

Within five (5) days of the designation of the winners, they will receive a message on the e-mail address indicated in the contact form confirming the nature of the prize obtained.

Within ten (10) days of receiving the e-mail confirming their win, the winners of the Game must reply to the e-mail address specified in the message in order to send the information required to receive the prize.

Failure by a winner to reply within ten (10) days will automatically result in the cancellation of his/her prize without the winner being entitled to demand any compensation or reimbursement. In this case, the Organiser may proceed with a new designation of winner among the participants.

It is hereby specified that the prize may in no case be exchanged for its cash value or for any other prize, even of a lesser commercial value, nor may it be transferred (whether free of charge or for payment) to a third party.

The Organiser reserves the right to replace the prize with a new one.

The Organiser reserves the right to replace this prize with another prize equivalent in value and characteristics, for any reason whatsoever, without being held liable in this respect.

The Organiser declines all responsibility for any incident and/or accident that may occur during the enjoyment of the prize awarded and/or as a result of its use.

Article 6 – Personal data

It is recalled that in order to participate in the Game, participants must provide certain personal information about themselves (name, address, etc.). This information is recorded and saved in a computer file and is necessary to take into account their participation, to determine the winners and to award and deliver the prizes. This information is intended for the Organiser, and may be transmitted to its technical service providers and to a service provider ensuring the delivery of the prizes. The data thus collected may be used within the legal framework. Pursuant to Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, files and freedoms, participants have the right to access, rectify and delete data concerning them. To exercise these rights, Participants must send a letter to the following address: 1 rue de la Seiglière – 33800 Bordeaux – France.

Reimbursement of the costs of requesting reimbursement for rectification and deletion of data will be made on the basis of a simple letter weighing less than 20 grams and bearing economy postage.

Article 7 – Limitation of liability

Participation in the said Game implies knowledge and acceptance of the characteristics and limits of the Internet, in particular with regard to technical performance, response times for consulting, querying or transferring information, the risks of interruption, and more generally, the risks inherent in any connection and transmission on the Internet, the lack of protection of certain data against possible misappropriation and the risks of contamination by possible viruses circulating on the Internet network.

Consequently, the Organiser cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible, without this list being restrictive, for the transmission and/or reception of any data and/or information on the Internet:
– any malfunctioning of the Internet network preventing the proper conduct and operation of the Game;
– failure of any receiving equipment or communication lines
– loss of any paper or electronic mail and, more generally, loss of any data;
– delivery problems;
– the functioning of any software;
– the consequences of any virus, computer bug, anomaly, technical failure; any damage caused to a player’s computer
– any technical, hardware or software failure of any kind, which prevents or limits the possibility of participating in the Game or which damages a player’s system

It is hereby specified that the Organiser cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage resulting from an interruption, malfunction of any kind, suspension or termination of the Game, for any reason whatsoever, or for any direct or indirect damage resulting in any way from a connection to www.cordier.com. It is the responsibility of each participant to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or software stored on their computer equipment against any attack.

The Organiser may in no case be held responsible for any incidents that may occur in the use of the prize by the beneficiaries once the winners have taken possession of it.

The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, stop, suspend or extend this Game without notice in the event of force majeure. The information relating to the cancellation or modification of this game will be posted, like the present Rules, on www.cordier.com/reglement-jeu-de-piste-2022. Furthermore, the Organiser may not be held responsible and no recourse may be taken against it in the event of the occurrence of events presenting the characteristics of force majeure (strikes, bad weather, etc.) depriving the winners, in particular, partially or totally, of the benefit of their prize.

In no case may the number of prizes exceed that provided for in these Rules.

Article 8 – Intellectual property

The reproduction, representation or use of all or part of the elements making up the www.cordier.com website, as well as the products offered therein, is strictly prohibited.
All brands or product names mentioned are trademarks or product names registered by their respective owners.

Article 9 – Acceptance and access to the Rules

The mere fact of participating in the Game implies pure and simple acceptance of these Rules in their entirety, without conditions or reservations.

Article 10 – Applicable law

These Rules and the Game are subject to French law.
